Wages and conditions enquiries for apprentices and trainees

Firstly, to assist Wageline in answering your online apprenticeship or traineeship enquiry as accurately and efficiently as possible, please have the following information ready at hand. 

1. Qualification

What is the exact name of the Certificate or Qualification you will receive upon successful completion of the apprenticeship or traineeship?  (i.e. the qualification name, the qualification code, stream of qualification and level of qualification)

2. Award or agreement coverage

What is the name of the award(s) or agreement which applies at your workplace? (e.g. Hairdressers' Industry Award - State 2003 or Sam's Plant Certified Agreement 2004-2007)

4. Terms of engagement

On what basis were you employed as an apprentice or trainee? (i.e. full-time, part-time, school-based, employed by a group training organisation or as an existing worker) Refer to our starting work as an apprentice or trainee for a more exacting definition.

5. Starting date

When did you start or enter into the apprenticeship or traineeship? For example, the date agreed by the employer to be the date you start as the employer's apprentice or trainee. This agreement may be supported in writing, but this is not mandatory. Alternatively, the date shown on the training contract which both the employer and trainee should have signed during the probationary period.

6. Age and schooling

Your current age. In addition, your highest level of schooling attained and in what year did you complete that level of schooling (e.g. highest level of schooling completed Year 11, completed in 2004).
