Work as a:
- teacher in a registered pre-school or kindergarten
- registered nurse employed in a crèche or kindergarten.
- child minder when employed by an accommodation industry operator in South East Queensland
- child minder when employed by an accommodation industry operator outside South East Queensland
Exceptions:
No award covers work performed by employees who are:
- a family day care worker that provides care and supervision for babies and children, usually in a worker’s own home, under local government or community based schemes.
- a nanny who assists parents in the provision of on-going care and supervision for babies and children, usually in the child’s home.
