Different awards may apply to employees who:

Work as a:

• mechanic, fitter, panel beater, sheet metal worker, boilermaker or welder
• glazier, cabinet maker "off-site", upholster, french polisher, wood workers, floor covering layer, mattress maker and coffin maker
• bricklayer, carpenter including cabinet maker "on-site", glazier, plasterer, plumber, sandblaster, shopfitter, signwriter, stonemason or tiler working in a workshop, factory or yard

Work in the:

• printing industry

Make:

• bread, dough and/or pastry goods in Southern Queensland (including Mackay region) and in Northern Queensland
• furniture, blinds and shades, picture frames, wood products and musical instruments
• clothing in South-East Queensland and outside South-East Queensland
• confectionery
• belts, gloves, sports goods, sails, luggage, handbags, leather coats, jackets and leggings
• food related products (e.g. cereal, fruit juices or cordials, pastas, tea, coffee, condiments) or drugs, medicines, chemicals or chemical compounds
• paint, varnish and associated products
• non-alcoholic drinks such as soft drinks, cordial, fruit juice, fruit drinks, ginger-beer
• cement, cement batching or concrete products

Are working:

• with jewellery, watches and clocks
• with or moulding rubber, plaster or fibre glass materials
• with meat (other than export meat) in a retail butcher shop
• in a saw milling or timber yard

Are:

• processing poultry
• processing, packing and/or handling prawns or other seafood
• drafting or assisting in engineering plans

Exceptions

Some employers may be covered by a federal award.
