The General Ruling declares that all awards be amended to include: - Employees (other than casuals) who are required to attend for jury service be paid the difference between their jury service pay and their ordinary pay.
- Alternative arrangements that allow by agreement employers to be paid the employee's jury service payments in consideration for employees being paid their full ordinary pay.
- Notification requirements for employees who are required to attend for jury service.
- Employees report for duty on a day or part day they are not required for jury service.
- A definition of ordinary pay.
